Kaya-chan wa Kowakunai – Episode 2 – Beware of The Child Abductor Ghost

January 19, 2026 by chikorita157 Leave a Comment
Sakuya gets freaked out by some ghost looking out of the window.

Last time, Kaya caused some trouble; the strange happenings didn’t stop, and a girl saw a host from a specific window. This incident leads to a series of suspicious beings trying to take children unsuspectingly.

Funny how Kaya is the only one that believes it.
Kaya defeats it in front of Sakuya.

In the first half, Sakuya becomes creeped out by a suspicious being looking out the window three different times. When she told her classmates, no one believed it except Kaya. It’s funny to see the kids taunt them, except for Kaya. Well, when Kaya saw it for herself with Sakuya, the next time they headed somewhere, that ghost appeared, and it actually came to Kaya. Out of the blue, Kaya defeated it, and Sakuya became freaked out. Even Chie can see it. Interestingly, after they left, flies started appearing near the window, and eventually, a body was taken out of the house.

Yuzu gives Kaya a flower ring.
Funny how Kaya stops Yuzu saying that that woman is not her mother.

Of course, it’s interesting that this phenomenon didn’t stop happening. There is now a report of a suspicious person talking to children. While the teachers take them to a nearby park, Yuzu puts a flower ring on Kaya’s head. Yep, her mother makes them often, since Yuzu suddenly disappeared after picking a flower with Kaya.

Apparently, it’s a certain spirit that abducts children.

Kaya eventually finds her, and it turns out to be someone’s mother. Chie eventually saw a glimpse of her and found Yuzu and Kaya. Kaya was fighting with Yuzu as she thought the lady was her mother. Kaya thinks it’s some kind of ghost. Eventually, a stereotypical otaku fat man appeared, wanting to talk to Kaya.

Chie throws down a fat guy, which is just another one of those spirits.
Thankfully, they got away safely.

Basically, Chie finds him suspicious and throws him down. Eventually, Chie picks them up and saves them. The funny thing is, the man is just a ghost that transforms. Chie eventually met up with her teacher, and Yuzu explained that she had seen her mother. The funny thing is, her mother came to pick her up and said that she wasn’t at the park. Seems a bit suspicious.

Kaya realizes she fell into a trap.

It becomes very apparent the next day as the ghost almost took Kaya. Thankfully, Chie gave Kaya a pocket emergency alarm that Kaya used. Kaya got tricked into leaving by jumping off the fence. It becomes apparent that it’s not her father when he’s waiting for her with Chie, and some children tell them what happened.

This person is not her mother.
This guy looks very suspicious.
Chie freaks out seeing that guy.
Funny how it ends up being awkward for the guy and Chie protecting Kaya.

Eventually, Kaya notices something funny and realizes that it’s not her father. The ghost went so far as to transform into Kaya’s mother to try to trick her. Kaya would be completely tricked if the stereotypical otaku fat man didn’t appear and spray the ghost. Believe it or not, it’s a spirit that is known as “Spirited Away,” a spirit that abducts children. It makes sense, but it’s funny to see Kaya use the alarm on the otaku-looking guy named Mob Osamu. Of course, Kaya’s dad apparently knows him, but at least Chie finds where Kaya is, and she is ready to throw hands before Kaya can stop her. Interestingly, he gives Chie a business card, and I wonder what he wants to talk to Kaya about. I guess we’ll find out soon.
