Now that Maguro has exposed her boyfriend and dumped him for plagiarizing everyone’s works, ADVenture faces its final challenge as Madoka is about to challenge the Elite Four.
At last, Madoka faces her rival as she heads to the Pokemon League. Yep, she battled her rival again. When she arrived at the office building, everyone seemed worked up. Apparently, ADVenture is having their contracts looked at again and possibly have their contracts terminated. They calm them down with a presentation competition. But four companies do resemble each member of the elite four.
This becomes apparent when Sora sees Madoka at the Elite Four. Of course, Midori calls Madoka, and I find it amusing that Madoka set the rival theme. That is when Sora sees Madoka finally made it to the Elite Four.
While there is not much to say about ADVenture facing off the 4 companies they made presentations for, the director finally comes back in a suit, ready to steer the ship to win all four companies. After all, Yadoya Koucichi is well renowned without losing a presentation and bringing in a lot of money. That is while Madoka battles all the Elite Four.
Meanwhile, we see Midori getting so frustrated with her team that she eventually decides to do everything herself. Believe it or not, Madoka recalls her rival, Midori. She is always better than Madoka at everything, no matter how hard she tries. Yes, with grades, kendo, and even her work. Madoka feels that Midori is one step ahead.
Eventually, Madoka went to the dojo, where Midori and Madoka faced each other. It brings them nostalgia, but they will challenge each other. Madoka wants Midori to stop aiming at her company. If Midori wins, she wants Madoka to stop following her. From the looks of it, it seems that Midori resents that Madoka gets along with everyone while she is alone. This is shown when Midori sees Madoka’s interactions with her coworkers. The funny thing is that Midori’s grandfather, Yukinari (based on the processor from the original games, obviously), manages the dojo and acts as a referee.
In the end, Madoka was at a disadvantage. However, Madoka manages to pull through, as we see her celebrating with her coworkers for having a clean win in the presentation competition. We find out Madoka actually won as they lie on the floor. Madoka receives a text message from Hiyama that they won against the last company, making it a clean win.
Interestingly, Midori’s grandfather mentions that Madoka won because she has attachment and reliance on her friends. This is the same thing Professor Oak says to the player’s rival after being the Champion. Midori realizes she lacks this after remembering Madoka being close to her coworkers. Midori finally says it’s her turn to follow Madoka.
With that presentation over and Madoka defeating her rival, it’s off to another adventure. Yep, catching all the legendary Pokemon while visiting her hometown.
